From Pleinmont Point, head northeast on the main road (Route de la Lande). Continue for about 1 mile until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Route de St. Martin. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles. Then, turn left onto Les Houards Forest. The German Occupation Museum will be on your right. There is parking available at the museum. Please note that there may be a small parking fee.

If you are using public transport, start by locating the nearest bus stop in Pleinmont Point. Take the bus route that heads towards St. Peter Port. You will need to transfer at the main bus station in St. Peter Port. From there, take the bus heading towards the west coast (Route 91 or similar) and alight at the stop for Les Houards Forest. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 5 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as services may be limited.

For those who are up for a walk from Pleinmont Point, you can take a scenic route through the coastal paths. Start at the Pleinmont Point car park and follow the coastal path heading northeast. This path will take you through beautiful landscapes and eventually lead you to Les Houards Forest. It’s approximately a 45-minute walk. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and keep track of time, as the museum closes at 1 PM.
