Getting There

Walking
From the center of St. Sampson, head northwest on the main road towards the coast. Continue on this route, passing the St. Sampson's Church on your left. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the roundabout at the end of the road. Take the second exit onto the coast road (Northbound). Follow this road for about 15 minutes, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Keep an eye out for Sandy Hook on your right side. Once you see the sign for Grand Havre, take a left turn onto the access road. After a short walk, you will reach the sandy beach area of Grand Havre.

From the St. Sampson bus stop, take the bus number 91 or 92 heading towards the north coast. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop labeled 'Sandy Hook.' Once you disembark, walk a short distance towards the beach area of Grand Havre, which will be visible from the bus stop.

Cycling
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the St. Sampson harbor area and head northwest along the coastal cycle path. Follow the path for about 3 kilometers, which should take approximately 15-20 minutes. You will pass by beautiful scenery and coastal views. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Northbound road, and continue cycling until you see the sign for Grand Havre. Turn right onto the access road leading to the beach.
