Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the center of Vale, at the Vale Church. Head southeast on the Rue des Cinq Forges towards the Rue des Chênes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Rue des Coutures. Turn left onto Rue des Coutures and follow it until you reach the junction with the Rue des Moulins. Here, turn right onto Rue des Moulins and continue straight. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to Les Houards Forest, where the German Occupation Museum is located. Follow the signs within the forest to the museum.

    From the Vale Church, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the Rue des Chênes. Take bus number 91 or 92 towards St. Peter Port. Get off at the stop 'Les Houards Forest'.
