    If you are starting from the center of Vale, head south on the main road (Rue des Goddard) towards the coast. Continue straight for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with Rue de la Perquage. Turn left onto Rue de la Perquage and follow it as it winds through the village. After about 0.3 miles, you will reach Rue du Pré. Turn right onto Rue du Pré and continue straight. As you approach the coast, you will begin to see signs for La Gran’mère du Chimquière. Keep walking straight until you reach the site, located near the coastal path. The destination will be on your left, easily recognizable as a large standing stone.

    From the Vale bus stop, take the bus that heads towards St. Peter Port. You can get off at the stop for 'The Coastguard' on Route de la Lande, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. From there, head south along the coast path, which is well-marked. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes along the coastal path, and you will arrive at La Gran’mère du Chimquière. It will be on your left side, overlooking the sea.
