Public Transportation

To reach Ponta Anchaca via public transportation, take a shared taxi (known as a 'taxi-brousse') from Bafatá to Buba. The fare is approximately 1,500 CFA francs. Upon arrival in Buba, you need to catch a taxi or motorbike taxi to the ferry terminal, which will cost around 500 CFA francs. Once at the ferry terminal, buy your ticket for the ferry to Rubane Island (approximately 5,000 CFA francs).
