Walking
From the city center of Bissau, head towards Avenida Amílcar Cabral, the main thoroughfare. Walk along this road, keeping an eye out for local shops and cafes, as they are great landmarks. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de Bissau Velho. Turn left onto Rua de Bissau Velho and walk until you see Praça Titina Silá on your right. It is a green space with some benches and trees, making it a perfect spot for relaxation.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central market area, known as Mercado Municipal. Ride along Avenida Amílcar Cabral heading towards the north. You will pass several local businesses and street vendors. When you reach the intersection with Rua de Bissau Velho, turn right. Continue down this road, and after a short ride, you will find Praça Titina Silá on your right-hand side. It's a pleasant ride with opportunities to stop at local shops along the way.
Public Transport (if available)
Check for any available local mini-buses or shared taxis heading towards Avenida Amílcar Cabral. Once you find a mini-bus, inform the driver that you want to get off near Praça Titina Silá. After disembarking, head south on Avenida Amílcar Cabral until you reach Rua de Bissau Velho. Turn left on Rua de Bissau Velho and walk a short distance to find the square on your right. Be sure to ask locals for directions if you're unsure.
