Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, you can catch a minibus or taxi from the main transportation hub in Mazaruni River. Look for minibuses heading towards Three Friends. The fare is typically around GYD 1,500. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mainstay Lake. Once you arrive at the Three Friends area, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach Danau Mainstay at the coordinates 7.2335227, -58.5358142.
