To use public transportation, locate the nearest bus station in Mazaruni River. Buses regularly travel to Bartica, so board a bus heading in that direction. Once you arrive in Bartica, you can either walk to Fort Zeelandia, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus terminal, or hire a local taxi for a short ride. The taxi fare should range between GYD 200-500, depending on negotiation.
