Car
From the center of Anna Regina, head southeast on the road towards the Essequibo Coast. Continue along the road until you reach the junction at Charity. Take the left turn onto the Charity to Mainstay road. Follow this road for about 25 kilometers until you see signs for Lake Mainstay Resort. The resort is located at Mainstay/Whyaka Village, just off the main road. Parking is available at the resort.

From Anna Regina, take a minibus or taxi heading towards Charity. The fare is approximately GYD 500-1000 depending on the vehicle and number of passengers. Once you reach Charity, you will need to arrange for a taxi to take you to Lake Mainstay Resort, which is about 25 kilometers away. Expect to pay around GYD 2000-3000 for the taxi ride. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
