If you're traveling by car from Bassin-Bleu, start by heading east on Route Nationale #2. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the town of Menard. Look for signage indicating 'Cascades de Dondon'. You will make a right turn onto an unpaved road that leads to the cascades. The road may be bumpy, so drive cautiously. After about 5 kilometers on this road, you will arrive at the parking area near the entrance to Cascades de Dondon.

Public Transportation
To reach Cascades de Dondon using public transportation, start at a local bus station in Bassin-Bleu. Look for a bus heading towards Menard. The fare should be around 50 HTG (Haitian Gourdes). Upon arriving in Menard, you will need to find a motorcycle taxi (often called 'moto-taxi') to take you to the cascades. The motorcycle taxi fare is approximately 200 HTG. Make sure to agree on the price before starting your journey. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes along the bumpy roads leading to the falls.

If you prefer to walk from Menard to Cascades de Dondon, you can do so after taking a bus to Menard. From the bus drop-off point, head towards the direction of the cascades signage. It’s about a 5-kilometer walk, which may take around 1 to 1.5 hours. The path can be rugged, so wear appropriate footwear and bring water. This option provides a great opportunity to enjoy the local scenery and culture along the way.
