If you're traveling by car, start from the main town square of Cap-Haïtien. Head south on Route Nationale #1 toward Port-au-Prince. After about 30 kilometers, take the exit toward Camp-Perrin. Continue on this road for approximately 10 kilometers, following signs for Camp-Perrin. Once in Camp-Perrin, ask locals for directions to Saut-Mathurine, which is located about 7 kilometers northeast of the town center.

To reach Saut-Mathurine via public transportation, take a tap-tap (shared taxi) from Cap-Haïtien to Les Cayes. You can find tap-taps near the main square. The fare should be around 100 HTG per person. Once you arrive in Les Cayes, look for another tap-tap heading to Camp-Perrin (approximately 50 HTG). Upon reaching Camp-Perrin, ask the driver or locals for directions to Saut-Mathurine, which is about 7 kilometers away and may require a short hike or a motorcycle taxi (around 200 HTG) to get closer to the falls.
