Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Port-au-Prince and take Route Nationale #2 towards Les Cayes. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the town of Camp-Perrin. Once in Camp-Perrin, look for signs directing you to Saut-Mathurine. The waterfall is located about 15 minutes from the town center. Follow the unpaved road leading to the waterfall, and you'll find a small parking area near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Saut-Mathurine using public transportation, take a tap-tap (local shared taxi) from Port-au-Prince to Les Cayes. The fare is usually around 200 HTG. Once you arrive in Les Cayes, transfer to another tap-tap heading to Camp-Perrin. The fare for this leg is about 50 HTG. After reaching Camp-Perrin, ask locals for directions to Saut-Mathurine, which is approximately a 15-minute drive from the town center. You may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (moto-taxi) for about 100 HTG to reach the waterfall.
Walking
If you're already in Camp-Perrin, you can walk to Saut-Mathurine. Head west from the town center, following the signs towards the waterfall. The trail is well-worn and should take you approximately 30-40 minutes on foot, depending on your pace. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, as the path can be steep in areas.
