Start at the central square in Petionville, known as Place Saint-Pierre. From the square, head east on Rue Lalue until you reach the intersection with Avenue Christophe. Turn left onto Avenue Christophe and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Rue du Commerce. Here, you can find local shops and cafes to take a break. After that, turn right onto Rue du Commerce and head towards the main road, Route Nationale 1. Cross the road carefully and continue walking north along Route Nationale 1. After a few minutes, look for signs or paths leading towards Laferriere Citadel. Follow these paths, which will lead you through the scenic foothills, until you reach the base of the Citadel.
