If you're driving, begin your journey from Jacmel, head south towards Route Nationale #2. Continue on this route until you reach Port-a-Piment. Once in Port-a-Piment, follow local signs to Cave Grotte Marie-Jeanne, located at the coordinates 7W34+654. The drive takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure your vehicle has enough fuel, as gas stations may be sparse in the area.

To reach Cave Grotte Marie-Jeanne via public transportation, take a 'tap-tap' (shared taxi) from Jacmel to Les Cayes. It's advisable to confirm with the driver that they will stop in Port-a-Piment. The ride may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Port-a-Piment, you can either walk to the cave, which is roughly a 30-minute hike from the town center, or hire a local moto-taxi for a small fee (approximately 200 HTG). Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride.
