    To get to Tortuga by car from Sud, first head north towards Les Cayes on Route Nationale #2. After approximately 35 kilometers, follow the signs to the port of Labadee, where you can find ferry services to Tortuga. The ferry ride takes around 1-2 hours depending on the sea conditions. Note that you should check the ferry schedule in advance and be prepared for a fare, which typically ranges from $20 to $30 USD per person.

    To reach Tortuga using public transportation, start at the central bus station in Les Cayes. Look for a bus heading to Labadee. The bus ride can take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Labadee, you will need to find the ferry terminal to purchase your ticket for the ferry to Tortuga.
