From the center of Copán Ruinas, head towards the main square, Parque Central. Once you reach the park, look for the road named 'Calle Principal'. Walk along 'Calle Principal' heading east for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with 'Calle 2'. Continue straight as 'Calle Principal' turns into 'Calle 2'. After about 500 meters, you will see a sign for a bus station on your left side. This is where you can catch a bus or a shared taxi (colectivo) to Esquipulas. Make sure to ask for Esquipulas when you board the vehicle.
