From Copán Ruinas town center, a taxi or ride-share is the most convenient way to reach Hacienda La Esperanza, located approximately 2 km away. The ride takes about 5-10 minutes. Expect to pay around L100-L150 for the trip. Negotiate the price beforehand.

Walking
For those who enjoy a scenic walk, Hacienda La Esperanza is accessible on foot from Copán Ruinas. The walk is approximately 2 km and takes around 30-40 minutes. Follow the main road (V-342) leading out of town. Be aware that the road is not always pedestrian-friendly, so exercise caution and be mindful of traffic. As you leave the main part of town, you will pass the Camino Maya Recreational Center. Continue along V-342, and Hacienda La Esperanza will be on your right.
