If you are driving to El Palenque from central La Ceiba, head northwest on Avenida San Isidro. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers. You will pass through a few small towns, and after approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the entrance to Pico Bonito National Park. Follow the signs to El Palenque, which is located within the park. Keep in mind that you may need to pay a park entrance fee, which is typically around 50 Lempiras per person. Once inside the park, follow the road signs leading to El Palenque.

To reach El Palenque by public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in La Ceiba. Look for buses or shuttles heading to Pico Bonito National Park. The fare is usually around 30 Lempiras. Inform the driver that you want to go to El Palenque. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to pay the entrance fee of about 50 Lempiras. After entering, follow the park's directional signs to El Palenque.

For a more private and direct option, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in La Ceiba to El Palenque.
