From the central park of Santa Rosa de Copán, head east on Calle 1 until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1. Turn left onto Avenida 1 and continue straight. You will pass several small shops and cafes. Keep walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the main road leading towards Copán Ruinas. Cross the road and follow the signs towards Copán Ruinas, which is approximately 10 kilometers away. The walk will take about 2-3 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

From Santa Rosa de Copán, head to the local bus terminal located near the central park. Look for the buses heading to 'Copán Ruinas' or simply ask the ticket seller for the bus to Copán. The fare is usually around 20-30 Lempiras. Buses run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the entrance of the Copán Ruins. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs towards the ruins, which is only a short walk from where the bus stops.
