Parking may incur a small fee, so be prepared with some Hungarian Forint.

To reach Szent György-hill by public transport, take a train to Tapolca from Budapest or other major cities. From Tapolca train station, you can catch a local bus (Bus 17) towards Hegymagas, which stops in Raposka. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited. Once you arrive in Raposka, follow the local signs to Szent György-hill. Note that you may need to walk approximately 15-20 minutes from the bus stop to the trailhead.

If you're already in Balaton Uplands National Park and prefer walking, you can take scenic trails leading towards Szent György-hill. The most popular route starts from Hegymagas village. Follow the marked hiking paths. The hike is moderate in difficulty, taking about 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Ensure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water.
