If you are driving from anywhere in the Balaton Uplands region, take Route 71 towards Nagyvázsony. As you approach Nagyvázsony, follow the signposts directing you to the castle, which is located on Vár u. 9. There is parking available near the castle. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around 500 HUF.
Public Transportation
To reach Kinizsi Castle using public transportation, start by taking a train to the Balatonfüred train station. From Balatonfüred, catch a bus to Nagyvázsony. The bus will take you directly to the village. Once you arrive in Nagyvázsony, it's about a 15-minute walk to Kinizsi Castle, located at Vár u. 9. If you are already in Nagyvázsony, Kinizsi Castle is easily accessible on foot. From the village center, head southwest on Vár u., following the signs to the castle. It should take you approximately 10 minutes to walk to the castle entrance.
