If you're traveling by car, start your journey from any point in the Börzsöny Mountains by heading towards Budapest. Follow the signs for the M2 motorway and take the exit for the city center. Once in Budapest, follow the signs for 'Buda' and then 'District I.' to reach Gellért Hill. There is limited parking available along the roads near Gellért Hill, so be prepared to walk a short distance to reach the hill itself.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a train or bus to Budapest. From the train station (such as Nyugati Pályaudvar), take tram number 4 or 6 towards the direction of Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the Széll Kálmán tér stop and transfer to bus number 5 or 29, which will take you closer to Gellért Hill. Disembark at the 'Gellért tér' stop, and from there, it's a short walk up the hill to reach the summit.
Walking
