Getting There

  • Metro

    To reach József Nádor Square, take the M1 (Yellow Line) metro from any station in Budapest. If you're starting from Deák Ferenc tér (a central metro hub), board the M1 towards Vörösmarty tér. Stay on the train for just two stops and get off at the Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út station. Once you exit the station, head east on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út until you reach József Nádor tér, which will be on your left.

    If you're near the Danube River, take Tram 2, which runs along the riverbank. Get on at any stop along the route heading north towards Jászai Mari tér. Ride the tram until you reach the Kossuth Lajos tér stop. From there, walk east along Kossuth Lajos tér, then turn left onto József Nádor tér. You will arrive at the square shortly.

    To get to József Nádor Square via bus, find a stop for bus number 9, 105, or 178. If you are near Blaha Lujza tér, catch bus 9 towards Csepel, or bus 105 towards Közvágóhíd. Alight at the 'Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út' stop. From there, walk east on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út, and you will soon reach József Nádor tér on your left.
