Metro
If you are near a metro station, take Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar. Get off at the 'Déli Pályaudvar' station. Once you exit the metro station, follow the signs for the exit towards Széll Kálmán tér.
Bus
From Széll Kálmán tér, you can take bus 16 or bus 16A. Both buses will take you directly to the Buda Castle area. Get off at the 'Dísz tér' stop. After exiting the bus, follow the signs towards the Buda Castle, which is a short walk away.
Walking
Once you are at Dísz tér, walk towards the Buda Castle entrance. You will see the entrance to the castle on your right. Continue walking straight until you reach Szent György tér, where the Lion Courtyard is located. The courtyard is directly at Szent György tér 2.
Tram
Alternatively, from Széll Kálmán tér, you can take Tram Line 59 or 61 towards the 'Hűvösvölgy' direction. Get off at the 'Buda Castle' stop. From there, walk towards the castle entrance and then to Szent György tér.
