Getting There

Public Transport (Metro and Bus)
If you are near Deák Ferenc tér, take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér. Get off at the Vörösmarty tér station. From there, walk to the bus stop Vörösmarty tér M, and take bus number 5 towards Gellért tér. Get off at the stop called 'Krisztinaváros' (about a 10-minute ride). From the bus stop, walk uphill along the street called 'Attila út' for about 10 minutes until you reach the Turul statue located on the Gellért Hill.

If you are in the Buda Castle area, simply walk towards the south along the Szent György utca, which will lead you to the main road, 'Krisztina körút.' Continue walking straight until you reach the 'Március 15. tér' and take a slight left onto 'Attila út.' Walk for about 15-20 minutes uphill until you reach the Turul statue, which is a large bird statue overlooking the Danube.

If you are near the Danube River, find the tram stop 'Clark Ádám tér' and take Tram 19 towards 'Szent Gellért tér.' Get off at the 'Krisztina tér' stop. From there, you can walk up 'Krisztina körút' for about 15 minutes, which will lead you directly to the Turul statue on the Gellért Hill.
