    Getting There

    Car

    If you're driving from Central Hungary, head towards Budapest via the M1 motorway. Follow the signs for Budapest and merge onto the M7 motorway. Take the exit towards Buda, which will lead you onto the Buda side of the Danube River. Once in Buda, look for signs for Citadella. You can park at the designated parking lot near the entrance, which may incur a fee (approximately 500 HUF per hour). From the parking lot, it's a short walk to the Citadella itself.

    Public Transportation - Train

    For those using public transport, take a train from your location in Central Hungary to Budapest's Déli Pályaudvar (Southern Railway Station). Once you arrive, exit the station and catch tram number 61 towards Törökbálint. Get off at the 'Szent Gellért tér' stop. From there, you can either walk up the hill to Citadella (approximately 20-30 minutes) or take bus number 27 towards 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér' and get off at the 'Citadella' stop. The bus ride costs about 350 HUF.

    Public Transportation - Metro and Bus

    Another option is to take the metro line M2 (red line) to 'Deák Ferenc tér', where you can transfer to tram number 47 or 49 towards 'Buda'.
