Car
Start your journey in Duna-Ipoly National Park. Head east on Route 11 towards Esztergom. Continue on Route 11 for about 30 km until you reach the junction with Route 12. Take the exit toward Route 12 and follow it for approximately 20 km. Merge onto Route 22 and continue for another 15 km. Finally, take Route 26 towards Aggtelek. The total driving distance is around 70 km and may take approximately 1.5 hours. Make sure to check for any tolls on the routes.

Public Transportation
From Duna-Ipoly National Park, locate the nearest bus station. You will need to take a bus to the town of Szob. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once in Szob, transfer to a train heading to the town of Aggtelek. The train journey will take approximately 1 hour. Make sure to check the local bus and train schedules in advance as they may vary. The total travel time using public transportation is about 2 hours and may cost around 1500 HUF for the bus and 2000 HUF for the train.

If you prefer to drive part of the way, you can drive from Duna-Ipoly National Park to Szob (approximately 30 km) and park your car at the train station.
