    From Duna-Ipoly National Park, head south on Route 11 towards Esztergom. Continue on Route 11 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 10. Take Route 10 towards Váci. After about 15 kilometers, merge onto M2/E77 towards Budapest. Follow M2/E77 for about 40 kilometers, and then take the exit towards Route 7 towards Balaton. Stay on Route 7 for about 40 kilometers until you reach the town of Csopak, where Balaton Uplands National Park is located. The park's visitor center is at Kossuth u. 6, 8229 Csopak.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Balaton Uplands National Park using public transport, take a train from Budapest's Nyugati Station towards Tapolca. The train journey takes approximately 2 hours. Get off at the Balatonfüred station. From Balatonfüred, you can take a local bus (Bus number 8) to Csopak, which takes about 15 minutes. The bus will drop you off close to the visitor center at Kossuth u. 6, 8229 Csopak. Make sure to check the train and bus schedules in advance to ensure a smooth journey.
