Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Eger Castle, head northeast towards the castle's main exit. Once you exit the castle grounds, turn left onto Kossuth Lajos utca. Continue straight on Kossuth Lajos utca until you reach the intersection with Knézich Károly utca. Turn right on Knézich Károly utca, and after a short walk, you will see the Eger Minaret on your left at Knézich Károly u., 3300 Eger.

    From the Eger Thermal Bath, exit the bath and turn left onto Dr. Keresztúry utca. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Kossuth Lajos utca. Turn right onto Kossuth Lajos utca and continue until you reach Knézich Károly utca. Turn left on Knézich Károly utca, and shortly after, you will find the Eger Minaret on your right.

    If you are near the Eger Basilica, start by heading south on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky utca. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kossuth Lajos utca. Turn left onto Kossuth Lajos utca and walk until you reach Knézich Károly utca. Then turn right onto Knézich Károly utca, and the Eger Minaret will be ahead on your left.
