If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Bukk National Park, you will want to head toward the town of Eger. Use local roads to connect to the main route, which is the 25. From the 25, take the exit toward Eger and follow the signs for Eger city center. Once you reach Eger, look for signs indicating 'Vár' (Castle) which will lead you to the parking area near the castle. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 500 HUF for a few hours.

For those using public transportation, you can take a train or bus to Eger. The nearest train station is in Eger. If you are coming from a nearby city, like Miskolc or Szilvásvárad, take the regional train to Eger. Upon arrival at the Eger train station, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) to the castle, following signs for 'Vár', or take a local bus that stops near the castle. Local buses have a small fare, usually around 300 HUF.

If you are already in Eger and prefer to walk to the Castle of Eger, head towards the city center. The castle is located on a hill, so be prepared for a slight incline.
