Public Transport
Start at Eger's main bus station (Eger autóbusz-állomás). Take bus number 12, which heads towards Kerecsend. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. Remain on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop named 'Vécseyvölgy dűlő'. From there, follow the signs towards the vineyard area, as Vécseyvölgy dűlő is known for its scenic vineyards.
Walking
If you're starting at the Eger Castle (Egri Vár), head southwest on Kossuth Lajos utca towards Kossuth tér. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Széchenyi utca. Turn left onto Széchenyi utca, and walk for about 1 km. You will then reach the bus station where you can catch bus number 12 to Vécseyvölgy dűlő. Alternatively, if you prefer walking the whole distance, take the scenic route via the vineyards, which will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Eger. Start from the main square (Dobó tér) and head towards the outskirts of the city. Follow the bike paths towards Kerecsend. The ride to Vécseyvölgy dűlő is approximately 5 km and should take around 20-30 minutes depending on your cycling pace. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, especially as you approach the vineyards.
