Car
From Hajdúság, take the M35 motorway towards Debrecen and continue to the M3 motorway. Merge onto the M3 towards Budapest. Follow the M3 until it turns into the M1 motorway. As you approach Budapest, follow the signs for the city center. Once in the city, follow the signs to Buda Castle, which is located on the Buda side of the Danube River. You can park in one of the nearby parking facilities, such as the Parking House at Clark Ádám Square, which may incur an hourly fee.

Start by taking a train from Hajdúság to Budapest. You can catch a train from the Debrecen train station. Once you arrive at Budapest's Keleti Pályaudvar (Eastern Railway Station), transfer to Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar. Get off at the Deák Ferenc tér station and transfer to Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Mexikói út. Get off at the Vörösmarty tér station. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Buda Castle. Alternatively, you can take the bus 16 from the Deák Ferenc tér to the Buda Castle area. Make sure to buy a ticket before boarding; a single ticket costs 350 HUF.
