If you are driving from Kapos Valley to Fisherman's Bastion in Budapest, head towards the M7 motorway. Follow the signs towards Budapest, and merge onto the M1 motorway. After approximately 130 km, take the exit towards 'Budaörs' and continue to follow the signs to the city center. Once in the city, navigate towards District I. You may use GPS coordinates (47.5021827, 19.0347812) for precise navigation. Parking is available nearby, but it may incur a fee, typically around 500 HUF per hour.

To reach Fisherman's Bastion using public transport, take a train from Kaposvár to Budapest Déli Railway Station. The journey takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival, exit the station and catch tram line 61 or bus line 16 from the nearby stop towards 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér'. Get off at 'Dísz tér' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk uphill to Fisherman's Bastion. The cost of the train ticket is approximately 2,500 HUF, and the public transport ticket in Budapest is 350 HUF.
