Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Sirok. From the main road (E71), turn onto Route 24 towards Sirok. Follow signs to Sirok, and as you enter the town, look for signs indicating the direction to Friar & Nun Rocks. You can park at the designated parking area near the entrance. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, usually around 500 HUF.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is in the town of Eger. From Eger, you can catch a local bus towards Sirok. Once you arrive at the Sirok bus station, it's about a 30-minute walk to Friar & Nun Rocks. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions. The walk is scenic and will take you through beautiful areas of the Mátra region.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Sirok, or prefer to walk, you can reach Friar & Nun Rocks by following the marked hiking trails. From the center of Sirok, head towards the nearby hills, and look for the blue hiking trail that leads directly to the rocks. The hike takes approximately 45 minutes and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
