Public Transport (Bus)
From the center of Tatabánya, walk to the Tatabánya bus station (Tatabánya autóbusz-állomás). Take bus number 24 towards Oroszlány. After approximately 40 minutes, get off at the Tatabánya terminus. From there, you will need to transfer to a train going to Budapest. Walk to the Tatabánya train station (Tatabánya vasútállomás), which is a short 10-minute walk away. Take a train towards Budapest. The train ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Budapest-Keleti station, follow the signs to the metro. Take Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Change at Deák Ferenc tér station to Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér. Get off at the Ferenciek tere station and walk towards Károlyi kert (Károlyi Garden) which is located at Károlyi kert 25, just a 5-minute walk from the station.

At Deák Ferenc tér station, switch to Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér. Get off at the Ferenciek tere station. From there, Károlyi kert (Károlyi Garden) is about a 5-minute walk. Head south on Ferenciek tere, then take a left onto Károlyi kert, where the garden entrance is located.
