Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the Tatabanya city center, head to the bus station located at the main square (Fő tér). Look for bus number 1 or 2 heading to Budapest. The buses run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey to Budapest takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Budapest bus terminal, exit the bus and proceed to the nearest metro station (Deák Ferenc tér).

• Train

  Go to the Tatabanya train station, which is located in the north part of the city. Purchase a ticket for a train heading to Budapest. Trains run regularly, and the journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at Budapest's Nyugati train station, exit the station and take the metro (M3 line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest, and get off at Deák Ferenc tér. From there, you can walk to Szabad Sajtó út 5.

• Walking

  If you're in Tatabanya and prefer to walk, you can take a leisurely stroll through the town. Start at the main square (Fő tér) and head west towards the train station. From there, follow the signs to the bus station and take the bus to Budapest if you're looking to combine walking with public transport. The walking distance to the bus station is about 1 km.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Tatabanya to the Budapest city center. This is a more expensive option but will take you directly to Szabad Sajtó út 5. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand or ask the driver to use the meter.
