Train
From Vac train station, purchase a ticket to Budapest Nyugati station. The train ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Nyugati station, exit the station and head to the tram stop outside. Take tram number 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at Széll Kálmán tér, then transfer to bus number 16 towards the Buda Castle. Get off at the 'Szent György tér' stop, which is right in front of Buda Castle.

From Vac, take bus number 100E from the Vac bus station to Budapest. The bus will take you to the Deák Ferenc tér in Budapest. Once there, transfer to the metro line M2 (red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the Déli pályaudvar station, then exit and take bus number 16 towards the Buda Castle. Get off at the 'Szent György tér' stop, which is located at Buda Castle.

If you are already in the vicinity of the Buda Castle, simply walk towards the Szent György tér. From the main square in Vac, head southwest toward the Danube River, and follow the riverside path. You can enjoy a leisurely walk along the river, and once you reach the bridge, cross over to the Buda side. Continue walking uphill towards the Buda Castle, following the signs. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
