Car
From Zemplen Mountains, head southwest on Route 37 towards Miskolc. Continue on Route 37 until you reach the junction with Route 3. Merge onto Route 3 and follow the signs towards Budapest. Once in Budapest, follow signs for 'Buda' and take Route 11 towards Buda Castle. As you approach the city center, navigate through the streets to reach Szent György tér, where Buda Castle is located. There are several parking options nearby, but be aware that parking fees apply and can vary depending on the time of day.

Public Transportation
To reach Buda Castle from Zemplen Mountains using public transport, first make your way to Miskolc and catch a train to Budapest. The train leaves from Miskolc Tiszai station and takes about two hours. Once in Budapest, transfer to Metro Line 2 (the red line) at Deák Ferenc tér station. Travel towards Déli Pályaudvar and get off at the end of the line. From Déli Pályaudvar, you can take bus number 16, which will take you directly to Szent György tér, where Buda Castle is located. Be sure to purchase a ticket beforehand, as fines apply if you do not have a validated ticket.
