Public Transport - Metro
If you are near Deák Ferenc tér, take Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the next stop, which is Széll Kálmán tér. Once you exit the metro, follow the signs to the bus station and board bus 16 or 16A. This bus will take you directly to the Buda Castle area. Get off at the last stop, which is 'Buda Castle'.
