If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the E71 highway. From the Zemplen Mountains, head towards the town of Szerencs, then take the E71 towards Miskolc. Continue on E71 until you reach the junction for M3 towards Budapest. Take the M3 highway, which will lead you directly towards Budapest. As you approach the city, follow the signs for 'Budapest' and then for 'Buda'. Exit at 'Gellért Hill' or 'Citadella', and follow the signs up the hill to reach Citadella. There is parking available near the entrance, but be prepared for potential parking fees.

For those using public transportation, you can take a train from Miskolc to Budapest. Once you arrive at Budapest Keleti Railway Station, transfer to the metro line M2 (the red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar (Southern Railway Station).
