From the center of Akureyri, head towards the waterfront. Start on Hafnarstræti street. Walk north until you reach the harbor area. Continue along the waterfront promenade, which offers beautiful views of the Eyjafjörður fjord. Follow the path as it curves along the shore, keeping the fjord on your right. This walk will take you approximately 30 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the scenic landscape and keep an eye out for local wildlife.

Locate the nearest bus stop in Akureyri, which is usually on the main street, Hafnarstræti. Take the bus that heads towards the direction of 'Eyjafjörður.' The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off the bus, you will be very close to the fjord's edge, where you can enjoy the views.
