From Borgarfjörður, head south on Route 1 (Ring Road) towards Reykjavík. Continue for approximately 60 km until you reach the junction with Route 41. Take the exit onto Route 41 towards Seltjarnarnes. After about 10 km, keep right to stay on Route 41, following signs for Seltjarnarnes. Continue straight until you reach the town of Seltjarnarnes. Once in Seltjarnarnes, follow the signs to Grótta. There is free parking available near the Grótta Lighthouse.
