Getting There

    If you are in the central part of Vesturbær, start by heading towards the coastline. Walk west along Sæbraut, a major road that runs along the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Fiskislóð. Turn left onto Fiskislóð, and you will find Lava Show at number 73 on your right. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.

    From any point in Vesturbær, locate the nearest bus stop for Strætó, the public bus service. You can take bus number 14 towards 'Bústaðavegur' or bus number 1 towards 'Hlemmur'. You will need to get off at the stop called 'Fiskislóð'. From there, walk a short distance down Fiskislóð, and Lava Show will be located at number 73 on your left. A single bus fare is 490 ISK (approx. $3.50) and can be paid with a card on the bus or a travel card.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Vesturbær. Head towards the coast, and ride along Sæbraut.
