Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Borgarnes, start at the Borgarnes Town Hall located at 1a, Borgarbraut. Head northeast along Borgarbraut road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (the Ring Road). Turn left onto Route 1 and walk for about 200 meters. Look for the signs for the bus station, which is on your right. At the bus station, you can take a bus to Reykjavík, which will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

• Bus

  From the Borgarnes bus station, board a bus heading to Reykjavík. The buses are operated by Strætó or other local companies. Make sure to check the schedule in advance, as the number of daily departures may vary. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic journey through the Icelandic countryside. The bus will drop you off at the Mjódd bus terminal in Reykjavík. From there, you can take the local bus number 15 or 16 towards Laugardalur, which will take you close to Köllunarklettsvegur.

• Walking from Mjódd

  Once you arrive at Mjódd bus terminal in Reykjavík, exit the terminal and look for the bus stops. Take the number 16 or 15 bus and ride it for about 10 minutes until you reach the stop called 'Laugardalur.' After getting off, walk along the main road (Laugardalsvegur) for about 500 meters until you reach Köllunarklettsvegur on your left. The Arctic Adventures location will be at Köllunarklettsvegur 2.
