From the center of Borgarnes, start at the Borgarnes Swimming Pool. Head west on Hvalfjarðarvegur road (Route 1) for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass a few residential areas and some beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Continue on this road until you see the sign for Skjólbrekka. Turn left onto Skjólbrekka and walk for about 300 meters. The Borgarbyggð Waterfall view will be on your right.
