From Borgarnes, head to the bus stop at Borgarnes Bus Station. Catch the bus heading to Reykjavík (check the schedule for timings). Once you arrive at Reykjavík Bus Station, exit and follow the signs to the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 14 towards 'Sundhöllin' and get off at the 'Sundhöllin' stop. From there, walk straight towards Grandagarður. Continue on this road until you reach Grandagarður 2, where the Saga Museum is located. It should take you approximately 10 minutes to walk from the bus stop.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Borgarnes town center and head south towards the main road (Route 1). Follow Route 1 until you reach the intersection with Route 49. Turn left onto Route 49 and continue until you reach Reykjavík. Upon arriving in Reykjavík, follow the signs for the city center, and then navigate towards Grandagarður. The Saga Museum is located at Grandagarður 2. This route may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your cycling speed.
