From Borgarnes, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Borgarbraut road. Look for the bus stop sign that indicates the route to Reykjavík. Take Bus 57 towards Reykjavík. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Reykjavík, you will need to transfer to Bus 5 at the Hlemmur bus station, which is a short walk from the main bus terminal. Board Bus 5 towards Laugardalur. Get off at the stop labeled 'Skarfabakki'. From the bus stop, walk for about 5 minutes towards the waterfront where you will find Skarfabakki Harbour.

If you are in the central area of Borgarnes, walk towards the main road, Borgarbraut. Follow Borgarbraut in the direction of Reykjavík for approximately 1 km until you reach the bus station. Here, you will catch Bus 57 to Reykjavík. Once in Reykjavík, get off at Hlemmur and transfer to Bus 5 towards Laugardalur. Disembark at the Skarfabakki stop and walk about 5 minutes towards the harbor area.
