Car
If you are driving from Egilsstaðir, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Höfn. Continue on Route 1 for about 130 km until you reach the turnoff for Route 96 towards Djúpivogur. Follow Route 96 for approximately 35 km until you reach the town of Djúpivogur. The Djúpivogur Lighthouse is located at the end of the town, right by the harbor. Be sure to use a GPS or a map app with the coordinates 64.6681347, -14.2938206 to find the exact location.
Public Transportation
To reach Djúpivogur via public transport, you can take a bus from Egilsstaðir. Check the local bus schedules for the nearest bus station. You will need to take a bus that travels along Route 1 towards Höfn and get off at the Djúpivogur stop. From there, it's a short walk to the lighthouse, which is about 1 km from the bus stop.
