From there, continue on Valhallarvegur road until you reach the coordinates 7V5J+Q23, which is the location of Öxarárhólmi. There is no direct fee for entering the area, but parking fees may apply at the visitor center.

To reach Öxarárhólmi via public transport, take a bus from Egilsstaðir to Reykjavík. Once in Reykjavík, transfer to a bus heading to Þingvellir National Park.
