Car
If you're driving from Egilsstaðir, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading east. Continue for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 93. After approximately 10 kilometers, you'll see signs for Stórurð. Turn left onto the road leading to the parking area. Be aware that the road can be rough and may require a 4x4 vehicle, especially if weather conditions are poor. Parking is free.
